Tom Selleck is indeed a beloved American actor, known for his roles in classic films and shows that bring us back to the good old days. However, beyond the screen, Selleck has a daughter named Hannah Margaret Selleck, who is now 34 years old. Despite her father’s fame, she has carved out her path and charms those around her with her unique presence.
In 1987, Tom Selleck tied the knot with Jillie Mack, and their daughter Hannah arrived a year later. Tom, known for his love of nature and the outdoors, was eager to share his passion with his daughter. So, they settled down on a sprawling 65-acre ranch in Ventura County, California, away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
“We both thought it was the best environment for [Hannah] to grow up,” remarked Jillie, Hannah’s mother.

“I quit Magnum to have a family,” he revealed to People in 2012. “It took a long time to get off the train, but I try very hard to have balance, and this ranch has helped me do that.”
It was on this idyllic ranch that Hannah first connected with horses, taking her inaugural ride at the tender age of four. By the time she turned 14, her passion for horses had blossomed into a serious pursuit.
Hannah credits her parents for always supporting her equestrian endeavors, fostering her love for horses every step of the way.
“Because [my parents are] both artists, they believe in the idea that you have to be very passionate about what you do to be successful,” Hannah shared with Eqliving. “They encouraged me to be passionate about it and immersed in it, and from there it was kind of on me how much I wanted it. They always let me take the lead. If I wanted to move barns or trainers, that was my decision.”
After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in communications, Hannah made the bold choice to pursue riding professionally. While in college, she began competing in equestrian events and even established her own horse breeding stable.
“My dad encouraged it a lot,” she revealed. “He liked the idea of developing the babies and developing young horses, so he was a big supporter of this idea.”
Now 34, Hannah exudes elegance and grace. She owes her striking appearance and love for the outdoors to her father. While she’s ventured into modeling, her true passion has always been her horses.
“As a kid, [my parents] tried to raise me as normally as possible given my dad’s line of work,” she reflected to The Hollywood Reporter.
Indeed, Hannah’s dedication to her passion for horses has allowed her to carve out her own path and accomplishments separate from her parents’ legacy. Both Tom and Hannah serve as admirable role models, each in their own right.
