As a child, I cherished attending dance classes, reveling in the exhilaration of recitals where I believed I had delivered a stellar performance. However, a humbling realization awaited me during a teacher showcase following one such recital. It was then that I recognized the potential for growth in my dancing abilities.

Boogie-woogie holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite dance styles. I’m excited to share a captivating video featuring this dynamic dance form. Recorded during the “A Taste of Boogie 2.0” festival in Padova, Italy, this electrifying performance stands out as a highlight of the event.

Boogie-woogie, renowned for its vibrancy and energy, has its roots in the United States, particularly in the 1920s among African-American communities, notably in the central Mississippi Delta. Influenced by the rhythms of blues, jazz, and ragtime, it emerged as a distinctive musical and dance style.

In this dazzling display of talent, dancers Agneiszka Cherubisnka, Grzegorz Cherubinski, Tanya Geogiievska, and Sondre Olsen Bye showcase their prowess as instructors. Their mesmerizing swing movements breathe life into the timeless classic “Deep Sea Ball” by Clyde McPhatter, composed in the 1950s. Prepare to be enraptured by their performance, certain to leave you spellbound. Watch the entire video provided below and share your thoughts with us on our Facebook page!
