Sandra Bullock is gradually returning to the public eye and the entertainment industry after taking a two-year break from acting. Following the passing of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, from ALS in August 2023, she has been slowly re-engaging with her career and the dating scene.

In July, just a few weeks before her milestone 60th birthday on July 26, Sandra was spotted running errands in Beverly Hills, looking serene and dressed in white. According to Us Weekly, she is easing back into public life, with a source noting, “She’s excited about what’s ahead. She’s ready to get back into the game.”

Sandra, who has starred in over 50 films, including iconic hits like Speed, Miss Congeniality, The Blind Side, and The Proposal, announced her break from acting in March 2022 after the release of The Lost City. She took this time off to focus on her personal life, particularly her children, Louis and Layla, and to support Bryan Randall through his illness.

During her hiatus, Sandra made only one brief on-screen appearance in the 2022 action comedy Bullet Train. Bryan’s death in August was a significant loss for her, but with the support of her friends and family, she has been able to navigate this difficult period.

Now, Sandra is ready to return to work and has expressed interest in reuniting with old industry friends. In a recent podcast, she mentioned her desire to work with her Speed co-star Keanu Reeves again, to which Keanu responded with enthusiasm.

While there are no confirmed plans for a Speed 3 film, Sandra is set to star alongside Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic 2, a sequel to the 1998 film that has since gained a cult following. Sandra is reportedly very excited about the project and is looking forward to working with Nicole again.

As she balances her return to acting with family life, Sandra is also honoring Bryan’s memory and focusing on her children. She remains open to the possibility of dating in the future, not ruling out any new opportunities.
