Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s middle child recently made headlines. The 15-year-old, previously known as Seraphina Rose, introduced themselves with a new masculine name, Fin, during a memorial service and also underwent a significant image transformation.

Ben and Jennifer have always been committed to protecting their children’s privacy. Throughout their marriage, which lasted from 2005 to 2018, they prioritized shielding their three kids — Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel — from the intrusive public eye, especially against paparazzi and social media.

Jennifer Garner has been particularly vocal about keeping her children away from the digital sphere due to its lack of positivity. Their child, who was born in 2009 as Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, embodies their dedication to family values. Affleck has even praised Garner as a “superhero mom” for her role in safeguarding their kids’ well-being.

Now 15, Fin Affleck seems to have comfortably settled into a blended family, forming close bonds with Lopez’s twins, Emme and Max.

During their grandfather William Jack Garner’s memorial service, Fin introduced themselves by their new name, saying, “Hello, my name is Fin Affleck.”

In 2022, Affleck married singer Jennifer Lopez. Lopez’s daughter, Emme, who prefers gender-neutral pronouns, has developed a strong connection with Fin as a step-sibling. A recent photo captured Fin, with pink hair, on a Los Angeles street alongside Emme.

The first hint of the new name appeared a few days earlier when Fin was seen hugging their mom, Jennifer, at a school bus stop in Brentwood, LA. The name “Fin” was even embroidered on their backpack.
