Meg Ryan made the bold decision to step away from Hollywood at the height of her fame to focus on her most important role: motherhood. Now, her children, Jack Quaid and Daisy True Ryan, are all grown up, and Meg couldn’t be prouder of the lives they are building.

Meg Ryan’s Shift from Fame to Family
Meg Ryan, famous for her roles in beloved films like When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle, decided to take a break from acting when her career was soaring. Reflecting on her decision, she explained, “I took a giant break because I felt like there were so many other parts of my experience as a human being I wanted to develop.”

Motherhood became central to that experience, as she devoted herself to raising her two children: Jack Quaid, whom she shares with Dennis Quaid, and Daisy True Ryan, whom she adopted from China in 2006.

In 2016, Meg spoke about how motherhood changed her, saying it not only shaped her personal life but also enhanced her ability to direct films. Stepping away from the limelight allowed her to focus fully on nurturing her children, a role that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

In October 2023, Meg opened up about the deep bond she shares with Jack and Daisy, saying, “I have two of the greatest kids. They’re just a blast. It is just a true joy.” While her return to filmmaking in 2023 with What Happens Later marked her comeback after an eight-year break, Meg’s most cherished production remains her family.

Despite his famous parents, Jack has built his career with hard work and dedication. “They don’t really give me advice,” Jack once said of Meg and Dennis Quaid. “Their emotional support is what means the most.” Fans have also taken notice of Jack’s good looks, with many praising his “hot” and charming appearance on social media.

While Meg and Dennis were initially hesitant about Jack pursuing acting due to the challenges of the profession, they have fully embraced his talent, with Meg noting, “Jack is really talented—more of a natural than I’ll ever be.”

Daisy True Ryan: A Beautiful and Bright Soul
Meg’s daughter Daisy, now a young adult, was adopted from China in 2006, a decision Meg describes as life-changing. She recalls the emotional first meeting with Daisy, where the toddler stopped crying as soon as she was placed in Meg’s arms. Over the years, Daisy has grown into a poised and intelligent young woman.

While Daisy maintains a quieter presence compared to her brother, fans have always admired her beauty and grace. Comments like “She’s beautiful” and “Cutie” reflect the admiration followers have for her. Meg describes Daisy as sharp-minded, soothing, and someone who can effortlessly lift the spirits of those around her.
