Jennifer Garner is celebrating Halloween by channeling her inner 13-year-old self.
On October 30, the 52-year-old actress shared a TikTok and Instagram video where she recreated the getting-ready scene from her 2004 hit film, 13 Going on 30.
In the video, she applies lip gloss, retinol cream, powder, and eyeliner, all while dancing to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” the same song featured in the movie. She also wore glasses to help with her eye makeup.
Garner, who portrayed Jenna Rink, playfully appeared confused by what seemed to be a pair of Spanx.
She started the video in a white silk robe before transforming into the vibrant outfit Jenna wore to her work party. As she left the bathroom, she showcased the dress, paired with long white stockings, dark pink sneakers, and a gray purse.
Additionally, she wore the same butterfly necklace and small hoop earrings as her character.
“Happy 20th Halloween, Jenna Rink,” she captioned the post.
Fans reacted with nostalgia, with one commenter writing, “You will always be Jenna Rink to me. I first watched 13 Going on 30 when I was 13 and celebrated my 30th birthday this year.” Another added, “My inner child got so giddy seeing you in the dress.”
13 Going on 30 tells the story of Jenna Rink, an unpopular girl who wishes to be “30, flirty, and thriving” on her 13th birthday, only to wake up as a 30-year-old living her dream life. The film also stars Mark Ruffalo, Christa B. Allen, and Judy Greer.
In April, Garner, Ruffalo, and Greer reunited to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary, sharing a video conversation on their Instagram profiles titled “13 Going on Boomer.”
