While having dinner, she turned off her phone to conserve its low battery. On the way home, she realized her phone was missing and began to panic.
She searched her handbag and car thoroughly but couldn’t find it. Growing increasingly anxious, she convinced her husband to drive an hour back to the restaurant to retrieve it. Once there, the restaurant manager kindly assisted them in searching every possible spot, even as her husband’s frustration grew.
Amid the chaos, the woman suddenly felt something in her jacket pocket. To her embarrassment, her phone had been there all along. Too mortified to admit her mistake and feeling guilty for the unnecessary trip, she excused herself to the restroom.
