Although Brigitte Bardot is rarely seen in public, she recently visited the Élysée Palace to meet with President Emmanuel Macron and his wife to discuss the important work her charity organization is doing.
In the past, Bardot had criticized Macron for lacking compassion and even urged French citizens not to vote for him in the most recent presidential election, citing his stance on animal rights. Bardot has been a long-time advocate for animal welfare, dedicating much of her life to fighting animal abuse.
Despite Bardot’s concerns, Macron won the election, as many French people overlooked her warnings. However, putting aside her reservations, Bardot agreed to meet with the president to address urgent issues.
Attending the meeting with the help of crutches, Bardot wore black pants and a round-neck blouse, accessorized with a choker. Macron opted for a more casual look, donning trousers and a crisp white shirt.
Judging by the photos from the meeting, it seems to have been a positive encounter. The president, first lady, and the iconic 1960s fashion figure were all smiling and engaging in friendly conversation.
It appears that Macron was able to convince Bardot of his genuine interest in supporting the mission of the Fondation Brigitte Bardot, which she founded.
