What began as a moment of pure happiness has now left her in a storm of love, confusion, and heartache.
She writes:
“My boyfriend proposed to me, and I was over the moon with joy. I didn’t hesitate to say yes, imagining our future together. But the very next day, everything changed. He called me and said, ‘I’m sorry, I think I made a rash decision. I’m not ready for marriage yet.’ Then he asked me to return the ring.
I was stunned. Without a word, I handed back the ring, packed up my things, and left.
The following day, I realized I had forgotten something at his place, so I went back. To my shock, when I opened the door, I saw him sitting comfortably, laughing and talking with his ex. My heart sank. I quickly grabbed my belongings and walked out. He tried to explain, but I couldn’t bear to hear it.
The truth is—I still love him, but I’m deeply hurt and confused.”
