There’s a common saying that “everyone has their own taste.” People prefer different things, and sometimes those differences spark endless debates—like whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza.

Here’s an example from my own life. When I do laundry, I wash my underwear together with other clothes like pants and socks. Personally, I don’t see the point in separating them—I just run everything with hot water and detergent.

One day, my mother-in-law happened to notice me doing the laundry. She immediately started complaining that I was doing it all wrong. About fifteen minutes later, I went back into the bathroom only to find that she had stopped the washing machine, taken out my husband’s underwear, put mine in their place, and started the cycle all over again.
