In one of the most unforgettable auditions on The Voice Kids Germany, 10-year-old Bjarne took the stage to perform Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved, and left everyone utterly amazed. Holding a small toy rabbit as he began, his voice immediately defied his age, starting with a rich, booming lower register before soaring into a crystal-clear high range.
From the very first notes, the judges were captivated. The first judge hit the buzzer before Bjarne even reached the chorus, and all four chairs turned by the end of it, showing that nobody wanted to miss out on witnessing this remarkable talent.
As Bjarne approached the bridge, his voice struck with astonishing power and emotion, leaving judge Lena Meyer-Landrut speechless. She later described his singing as “sounds that are like from heaven.” The audience and judges alike were visibly moved, and Bjarne’s family couldn’t contain their joy. After the performance, Meyer-Landrut embraced him, and the judges rushed onstage with high fives and cheers. Bjarne and his mother shared a touching moment of tears and pride.
Later, Bjarne continued to impress by performing a duet of Tom Odell’s Another Love Song with Álvaro Soler, accompanied by Meyer-Landrut on piano, further showcasing his versatility and poise.
Fans flooded social media with comments like, “Man, that brought a tear to my eye,” and “This child is just remarkable! What a voice! Sweet, naive, and unadulterated!” Bjarne’s blind audition for “Someone You Loved” marked the start of what promises to be a very bright musical journey.
