Lyudmila Belousova, 79, and Oleg Protopopov, 83, skated on ice in the United States in September 2015 as part of the “Evening with Champions” event. Everyone used to like their performances, with no exception.
Even trying to imagine that they would return and put up a refined and brilliant performance fifty years later would be inconceivable. It’s fantastic. Unmatched, effortless, and with a lengthy stride… just wonderful Excellent professionalism at all times!
unending respect I will always remember Lyudmila Evgenievna. This spans an entire era. They are special. Even if figure skating today and figure skating 50 years ago were like heaven and earth, I now admire them! They demonstrated that creativity knows no bounds!
