Everyone is familiar with the story of Mowgli, but as actual life demonstrates, such kids do exist.

Today, we’ll tell you about Tippi Degre, a young girl who spent her entire childhood surrounded by wild creatures.

The infant was born in 1990 in Namibia to a family of wildlife photographers. Her parents fostered a passion and respect for animals and the natural world in her from an early age.

Little Tippi’s safety became a concern for the administration of the reserve where the family worked, and they requested that they leave and move their child to a more comfortable place to live.

The family relocates to the Botswana reserve as a result, where they nevertheless managed to reach an understanding with the management. The young girl made friends with an elephant by the name of Abu and a playful leopard by the name of J&B here.

Tippi’s family relocated to France when she was 10 years old, where she attended school, but she always recalled Africa with dread as her real home.

At the age of 30, the girl traveled back to her own country to record six nature documentaries for the Discovery channel. By the way, she frequently played a tiger keeper in the hit TV series Fort Boyard.

She now enjoys carrying on her parent’s work and runs a website and blog about Africa.
