After learning that the woman didn’t have a reliable way to get around, the CEO of a hair business decided to throw a surprise party for the teacher of her daughter’s class by giving her a brand new car.

When Courtney Adeleye’s husband told her that their daughter’s teacher took a lot of buses to and from work every day, she knew she had to help.

Adeleye is the CEO and creator of The Mane Choice haircare products. She and her husband, who is a doctor, surprised a teacher at her workplace by buying her a new car.

The couple’s 11-year-old daughter took a video when her parents brought the instructor outside to see her car for the first time.

“Are you serious?” The teacher screams, “Oh my god!” and her voice cracks with anger. I don’t understand this at all! You just don’t understand.”

Adeleye writes in the video’s subtitles that the teacher has never had a new car before and that she knows she has been successful when she can help someone in need.

“When my husband told me that the teacher who has taught my daughters for the past few years has been taking many buses to and from work every day, even when it’s very hot or cold, I was shocked. He said we should give her something, to which I replied, “Stop talking about it!”

“When you ask me what it means to be successful, I tell you this. (Give to those who don’t expect anything in return.)” Adeleye’s fans say that she is always willing to help those who need it.

The beauty business owner came up with a plan called “Cover My Bill,” in which she says she will pay the bill of one of her followers. Forbes says that she has paid the bills of more than 150 people who follow her on social media.

“It’s my way of telling everyone that we can all do something and make a difference. It doesn’t have to be as big as what I’m doing, but any effort will help.”
