Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, is a big name in the NFL. He recently appeared on Bill Maher’s new podcast, Club Random.
Rodgers has been a strong opponent of the “woke mob” and has called out many California politicians for being hypocrites. Rodgers said, when asked about California, “The state is going to sh*t, but I’m holding on.”
“I grew up in a small town. Up in Chico, California, there were very few COVID cases, but all the small businesses? F*cking gone.
“I think a lot of people think that you should be able to make your own decisions about your health care.
“My thing is that I have a problem with hypocrisy in society in general, and I know you do too. But abortion has been a hot topic, right?
“Especially after Roe v. Wade was overturned and sent back to the states, or whatever.
“I don’t think the government should tell us what to do with our bodies.”
“Even though I might be more pro-life, I don’t want the government to tell me I can’t smoke a cigar, drink alcohol, or make my own decisions about my health.
“And if I’m a woman, don’t tell me what to do, you f*cking idiot.
“Like, it doesn’t matter if I agree with what you decide to do or not.
He said, “And the government shouldn’t make a decision that limits my personal freedoms.”
