The 101-year-old grandmother couldn’t contain her happiness when she saw the youngest member of her family.
Even though she already has six stepsons, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
It’s a well-known fact that grandparents and grandchildren have a very special bond.
This real connection gets stronger over time and makes parents and other family members happy.
The most important thing is that grandparents see themselves in their grandchildren and that their relationship is the perfect mix of love, understanding, and fun.
After waiting for 75 years, the baby was the first grandson in the family.
Gwen Smith, who is 101 years old, saw Maeva, who was born on November 24, 2021, in her room at a nursing home in Northfleet, Kent, Britain, on December 21, 2021.
Maeva was so interesting to Gwen that she couldn’t take her eyes off of her.
“It was a one-of-a-kind event when all five generations were there,” says the Smith family.
Smith thanked the people in charge of the nursing home for letting him visit the residents because of the flu.
A few days later, in February 2022, Gwen turned 101, and Smiths said that she was happy and honored to have more family members.
