In the movie Strange Days from 1995, he played Burton Steckler, a police officer who is looking for a special disc with video evidence on it. After that, in 1997, he got a part in the movie Men in Black, where he worked with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. This time, he played the part of the bad guy.
Three years later, in 1996, Vincent was in the movie The Cell, which was about serial killers and came out in 2000. Law & Order: Criminal Intent has been on TV since 2001, so you’ve probably heard of it. In 141 episodes of the drama he was in, D’Onofrio played Robert Goren, who was one of the best detectives ever seen on TV. He also had a small role on the TV show Sherlock.
Over the next few years, D’Onofrio made guest appearances on many different TV shows. In 2006, he played Vince Vaughn’s business partner in The Break-Up. His ability to hide who he really is and become a different person for every show he is in, no matter what kind of show it is, is unmatched.
In the movie Jurassic World, which came out in 2015, he played the part of Vic Hoskins. Given all of these things, it’s easy to say that Vincent D’Onofrio is, at the very least, terribly underappreciated, and he should be much more well-known than he is.
