Expressing individuality comes in various forms, and for some, tattoos serve as a bold statement. While some opt for modest ink, others like Tristan Weigelt, a 26-year-old tattoo apprentice, have gone to extreme lengths, adorning nearly every inch of their bodies.

Tristan’s dramatic transformation caught the attention of many after he revealed images of his appearance before he embarked on his tattoo journey.

Let’s delve into the images to witness the striking contrast.

Weigelt embarked on his journey of covering 95 percent of his body in tattoos at the age of 20.

Reflecting on his transformation, he shared with the Daily Star, “It’s kind of weird looking at myself without all the tattoos. But funnily enough, I still feel exactly the same as before on the inside.”

Weigelt revealed that among all his tattoos, the ones on his face and head were the most excruciating, likening the sensation to being scraped with a metal brush.

Describing the intense process, he explained, “It was six full day sessions taking between five and six hours, and the pain was probably an eight out of 10.”

Despite the significant pain endured during the tattooing sessions, Weigelt clarified that there are no hidden messages or deeper meanings behind his extensive body art.

Over the course of five years, Weigelt has invested a staggering $50,000 in tattoos.

Offering advice to those contemplating getting inked, Weigelt emphasized, “Get what you love and what makes sense to you. I see so many people worried about a certain tattoo fitting them or it not being their style. If you like it – then get it.”

Indeed, Weigelt’s transformation is truly remarkable and serves as a testament to the power of self-expression through body art.
