Halsey Shares Health Update and Announces Donations to Lupus and Leukemia Organizations
Halsey recently provided fans with an update on her health, revealing her plans to donate to lupus and leukemia organizations. In an Instagram post, the musician expressed gratitude, stating she considers herself “fortunate to be alive.”

She tweeted to her 31 million followers about her recent health struggle: “Long story short, I’m fortunate to be alive. In brief, I created an album. It starts with the end. Out now.”

Halsey also announced her collaboration with the Lupus Research Alliance and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In connection with the release of her new single, she will be making a donation to both organizations.

The post included videos from her first day of treatment and subsequent hospital visits, showing her enduring injections and drips. In one video, Halsey is seen caressing her legs, telling an off-camera friend, “Seriously, seriously. I felt like an elderly lady.”

She continued: “I’m thirty; I’m experiencing a rebirth, and I’m not going to look ill. It’ll look great and have plenty of energy. I’ll simply have the opportunity to revisit my twenties in my thirties.”

Another video shows her recording her new single, “The End.” Halsey plays guitar while singing into a microphone: “Every couple of years now, a doctor says I’m sick. He pulls out a brand-new bag of tricks. And then they lay it on me. And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain.”

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society also responded to Halsey’s tweet, saying, “Long story short, thank you for sharing your voice and vulnerability with the world. Long story short, we will always be there for you.”
