Donny Osmond has shared more than just “Puppy Love” with his wife Debra, whom he married 45 years ago. The couple, who have five sons and 14 grandchildren, recently welcomed their newest grandchild, Dune Tyler, born in June 2023.

Having grown up in a large family himself with eight siblings, Osmond is no stranger to the dynamics of big families. As a teen, he became an international sensation with his sweet vocals on “Puppy Love” in the 1970s.

Osmond, who was part of The Osmonds with his five brothers, and his sister Marie, captivated audiences with their show “Donny & Marie” from 1976 to 1979. Their show featured their siblings and numerous celebrity guests, including Tina Turner and Lucille Ball. They continued to entertain audiences with variations of their show and an 11-year residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas that ended in 2019.

Donny and Debra married in 1978, both being members of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. On May 4, 2023, Donny posted a tribute to his wife, marking their 45 years together. Fans responded with playful comments about their heartbreak over Donny’s marriage, noting how it had crushed the hopes of many fans.

The couple’s five sons—Don (born 1979), Jeremy (born 1981), Brandon (born 1985), Christopher (born 1990), and Joshua (born 1998)—and their 14 grandchildren bring joy to their lives. Donny and his family celebrated Christmas on a themed train in Utah, sharing videos of their festive moments on Instagram.

Recently, Donny welcomed his 14th grandchild, Dune Tyler Osmond, the son of Christopher and his wife Alta. He shared a heartwarming photo of himself holding the newborn, expressing gratitude and joy in his caption. Fans praised the touching image, admiring Donny’s role as a loving grandfather.

In an interview with ET Canada, Donny humorously mentioned having more than one soccer team of grandchildren, describing the lively family gatherings as “sweet chaos.”
