Martha Stewart has left fans amazed after sharing another stunning selfie on social media.
The 82-year-old businesswoman is renowned for her ageless beauty, and her latest snap proves she looks flawless from the moment she wakes up. In the photo, she poses in a grey, slinky nightgown and matching robe with white lace trim, her hair perfectly tousled from sleep, and a slight pout on her lips.
She captioned the photo: “After an eight-hour plane trip from Westchester to Palm Beach – horrible by the way – we went to bed early and wore my beautiful @sabbiarosa nightgown (linen with robe). I didn’t look so bad when I got up, at least not as bad as I did when I went to bed – it must be the $$$ outfit!!”
Fans were blown away by her glamorous morning look and flooded the comments with compliments. Patricia Arquette wrote, “You go girl!” while Ellen Pompeo called her a “smoke show.” One fan exclaimed, “Sheesh! Save some sexy for the rest of us Mama!” Another added, “Martha chill my man is on this app!!”
Comments also included, “Thirst Trap Martha is my favorite Martha,” and, “Martha Stewart thirst traps are the best. WE NEED MORE MARTHA.” One follower pointed out, “‘She woke up like that’… ‘cuz she’s Martha darn Stewart.”
Martha attributes her amazing genes to her mother, who believed in “good living” rather than focusing on aging. In an interview on The Today Show, she explained: “I think all of us should think about good living, successfully living, and not aging. The whole aging thing is so boring. You know what I mean?
“I have a hospital called the Center for Living at Mt. Sinai. I started this hospital with Mt. Sinai and it’s all about growing old gracefully.
“We don’t think about aging, we think about successful living, and we try to instill in people the desire to eat well, exercise well, have friends, to have pets – to do all the things that make you happy as you get older. So that’s what I’m all about.”
Martha is proof that age really is just a number. She continues to break boundaries, becoming the oldest woman to model for the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue in May. She revealed it took two months to prepare for the shoot, telling the New York Times: “I had to make sure I was ready to pose in a bathing suit. It took a bit of vanity but also a bit of confidence.
“I thought: ‘If I’m feeling good enough physically and mentally to do such a thing, I’m up for it.’”
What a legend.
