A father who boasts more than 97% of his body covered in tattoos reveals he has spent approximately £240,000 on his ink, with £80,000 of that amount accumulated in the past year alone.
Known as Remy or Jeremy Schofield, he has achieved a jet-black appearance on most of his body, excluding his face and palms, thanks to years of dedication. To keep the colors vibrant, he has repeatedly updated his tattoos, totaling around 2,200 hours under the needle.
With over 85,000 followers on Instagram (@ephemeral__remy), Remy is far from finished with his tattoo journey. The 36-year-old tattoo shop manager, who was previously a chef, shared with What’s The Jam that his body has undergone multiple full tattoo sessions over the years.
He is currently working on a full-color over-blackout bodysuit and plans to start on his back soon. Remy believes he is the world’s most tattooed person ever, and he’s determined to surpass all expectations.
Despite facing criticism from online trolls and dealing with negative feedback about his unique appearance, Remy remains unfazed. He continues to prove the so-called ‘experts’ wrong and enjoys a positive reception in person, including enthusiastic responses from his son’s friends who follow him on TikTok.
Remy acknowledges that the negativity he encounters is largely a product of social media, which he feels amplifies unwarranted hostility.
