Witherspoon’s 24-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, revealed a dramatic hair color change on Tuesday. The model, whose father is Ryan Phillippe, showcased her new dark brown shade on Instagram, departing from her signature blonde hair.
“Time to see how the other half lives 💃🏻 #brunette,” Ava captioned her post.
In the photo, Ava embraces her new look, wearing a red minidress with floral details and dark shades, smiling as if brunettes do indeed have more fun. Fellow blonde-turned-brunette Sasha Pieterse commented, “We have fun too 😎.”
Her transformation is the work of hair stylist Tucker Goodwine, who shared a before-and-after post on Instagram, captioned: “took @avaphillippe BRUNETTE & I am so so here for it!! swipe for before. cut & color by meeee.”
Witherspoon shares son Deacon, 20, with ex-husband Ryan, whom she divorced in 2006 after seven years of marriage. She also has a son, Tennessee, 11, with her second husband, Jim Toth, whom she divorced last summer after 12 years of marriage.
While Ava now looks less like her famous mother, Witherspoon has experimented with brunette hair in the past. She sported brown locks in 2004 before quickly returning to blonde and wore a mousy brown wig in the first season of The Morning Show in 2019.
