Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively recently opened up about their unique sleep arrangement with their four kids: James, Betty, Inez, and Olin. According to Reynolds, bedtime in their household is quite a challenge, with many of their children insisting on sleeping in their bed, leading to a crowded and chaotic situation.
Reynolds discussed this on Amanda Hirsch’s podcast, Not Skinny But Not Fat, explaining that their bed has become a nightly gathering spot. Despite the cramped conditions, he maintains a positive attitude, reminding himself that “nothing’s ever going to be tidy again” until the children are grown. This perspective helps him appreciate the moment, even amidst the chaos.
Lively also reflects on this time as fleeting, often reminding Reynolds that “they’re all under our roof right now.” The couple, married in 2012, cherishes the closeness of their family.
At the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City, Reynolds revealed their youngest child’s name, Olin, while speaking with a Wrexham AFC fan. During his speech at the event, he expressed gratitude for his family, joking about hoping that the movie would be the most traumatic thing in his children’s lives.
Earlier this year, Reynolds humorously mentioned that they were waiting for their friend Taylor Swift to choose their baby’s name, as Swift had incorporated their older daughters’ names into her lyrics. Reynolds also shared that they prefer not to find out the sex of their babies beforehand and are excited about expanding their family, despite the inevitable challenges.
