American track star Noah Lyles claimed the title of “fastest man in the world” by winning the gold medal in the 100-meter race at the Paris Olympics, and he made sure to give all the credit to God for his victory.

Noah’s journey to this achievement wasn’t easy. Throughout his life, he’s faced numerous challenges, including asthma, allergies, dyslexia, ADD, anxiety, and depression. Yet, he never let these obstacles define him. Instead, he relied on his faith, which played a crucial role in helping him overcome each hurdle on his path to Olympic gold.

In a race that was as thrilling as it was close, 27-year-old Noah won by a mere five-thousandths of a second. Even Olympic champion Michael Johnson described it as the best final he had ever witnessed. The finish was so tight that no one was sure who had won at first—not even Noah, who began congratulating another runner, thinking he had lost.

Before the race, Noah was seen repeatedly saying, “Thank you, God,” a sincere expression of his faith. When asked about his thoughts before the race, he smiled and reiterated the same words.

Noah’s story is a powerful reminder of what faith can achieve. He has often spoken about his personal journey with God, sharing how he has relied on divine guidance during moments of doubt. After the race, he reflected on how his relationship with God had grown stronger, saying, “I had to find my own journey with God… God, if you really want me to do this, give me a sign. He gave me a sign, and I said, ‘I’ll never doubt You again.’”

His win also served as a heartfelt tribute to his coach, Rashawn Jackson, who passed away just a month before the Olympics. With deep emotion, Noah dedicated his victory to his late coach, saying, “This one is for you, man.”

Noah’s mother expressed her overwhelming joy, sharing how she screamed harder than ever before in excitement for her son’s triumph.

Noah Lyles’ story is an inspiring testament to the power of faith and perseverance. Despite the challenges he has faced, he has shown that with God’s guidance, it is possible to overcome any obstacle. His journey encourages others to keep pushing forward, even when the odds seem insurmountable.
