Shannen Doherty’s mother, Rosa Doherty, is committed to preserving her daughter’s legacy by continuing her podcast, Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty. In the latest episode titled “Let’s Be Clear…Continues,” Rosa announced that she would carry on with the podcast following Shannen’s death on July 13, at the age of 53, after a prolonged battle with cancer.

“I am going to do my best to continue this for her, because that’s what we discussed,” Rosa shared in the August 15 episode. She acknowledged the challenge of filling Shannen’s shoes but expressed her determination to honor her daughter’s wishes. “I’m here for all of you, and I hope you’re all here for me,” she added.

Rosa highlighted how crucial the podcast became to Shannen, especially during her cancer journey. Shannen, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, went into remission in 2017, but the cancer recurred in 2019. By 2020, she publicly announced she had metastatic stage 4 cancer, which later spread to her brain and bones.

“This podcast meant so much to Shannen,” Rosa explained. “It allowed her to share her story and truth, amidst many stories and untruths.” Rosa described watching her daughter record the podcast as a profound experience, noting how it helped Shannen cope with her illness.
