Hugh Jackman flaunts his physique!

On Wednesday, September 4, the 55-year-old actor shared a shirtless mirror selfie on Twitter, showcasing his impressively lean build for his role in Deadpool & Wolverine.

“I am grateful,” the Australian star captioned the post.

In the photo, Jackman flexed his muscles while wearing black Under Armour track pants, standing in a bathroom.

“All those days in the gym paid off!” commented former ski racer Lindsey Vonn.

Fans were quick to react, with one saying, “This is definitely a good morning 🔥,” and another chiming in, “Hugh, we’re grateful too.”

Earlier this year, Jackman spoke to People E about getting back into superhero shape for Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine, a film that premiered in July, marking his return to the iconic X-Men character since 2017.

“When I got back into it, it was really fun, and I was thrilled,” Jackman shared. “My body felt sore at first, but I was glad it still responded. I also realized how good it is for your mind.” He admitted that bulking up for Wolverine wasn’t easy, with eating being the toughest part.

“I have to eat a lot,” he explained. “I’m naturally slim, so the hardest part is gaining the right size. That’s what concerns me the most.” He joked that while eating five or six meals a day might sound fun, “The food isn’t always what you’d imagine.”

His co-star Ryan Reynolds was equally amazed by Jackman’s physique during filming.

Rob Delaney, another co-star, also praised Jackman’s dedication to staying in shape. In an interview with Virgin Radio UK, Delaney, 47, revealed how impressed he was by Jackman’s strength.

“Hugh Jackman is ripped and muscular, often shirtless – and he’s just a really nice guy. I used to think superhero muscles were mostly for show, but I saw him doing 800 perfect push-ups in one day.”

Delaney humorously added, “If a bus hit you and Hugh was around, you’d be fine. He’d just push it away and save you.”
