“Turning Darkness into Art.” According to Guinness World Records, 36-year-old army veteran Esperance Fuerzina from Bridgeport, Connecticut, holds the title of the world’s most tattooed woman. This is the story of how she made history.

For the past decade, Esperance has covered 99.98% of her body in tattoos—and she has no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Her transformation began at 21 when she got her first tattoo on her hip. Since then, she has undergone numerous body modifications to reshape her appearance.

These changes include a split tongue, five facial implants, and multiple piercings, including those on her ears and nipples.

Her tattoos extend far beyond the usual placements, covering her entire body—including her tongue, gums, and even her eyeballs—along with her scalp and the soles of her feet.
