At 78 years old, music legend Cher took the stage at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert on February 14, delivering an unforgettable performance of her iconic hit “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Cher dazzled the crowd in an ensemble reminiscent of her most daring fashion moments: a black leather jacket, thigh-high boots, and a transparent black bodysuit adorned with sequins.

Known for her collaborations with fashion designer Bob Mackie, Cher has long been synonymous with bold, transparent, all-black styles. According to Newsweek, her performance had the crowd on their feet, and a video shared on the official SNL Instagram shows stars like Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell, and Kevin Costner all getting into the groove.

The star-studded event also featured performances from Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, and The Backstreet Boys. Andy Samberg, known for his musical comedy, performed a mashup of The Lonely Island’s greatest hits, including “Lazy Sunday” and “D— in a Box.”

This concert is a prelude to SNL’s 50th Anniversary Special, airing February 16. The special promises a three-hour nostalgia trip, packed with appearances from beloved characters and cast members, including Adam Sandler, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson, and more. Many original 1975 cast members are expected to make an appearance, according to NBC News.
