Jennie Garth, 53, Poses in Underwear for the First Time — and Shares the Strength Behind the Shoot
A brand-new campaign. A debut photo shoot. And a quiet story of perseverance behind the camera. Jennie Garth—beloved for her role in Holidaze and as Kelly Taylor in Beverly Hills, 90210—has once again stepped into the spotlight, this time to showcase something deeply personal: strength, beauty, and self-acceptance at 53.
On June 5, 2025, Garth took to Instagram to unveil her first-ever lingerie shoot, proudly announcing her collaboration with the brand ThirdLove. The post, which quickly drew admiration from fans, marked a milestone for the actress in both her career and her wellness journey.
“I never thought I’d be doing my first underwear shoot at 53… but here we are! And I’ve never felt more confident, or comfortable in my skin,” she wrote.
The shoot features Garth modeling pieces from ThirdLove’s TempSync™ collection, a line of bras and underwear infused with natural volcanic minerals and designed to regulate body temperature. Garth praised the collection for being her “go-to” during hot flashes and hectic travel days.
“Thank you @thirdlove for helping me feel strong, sexy, and supported—exactly as I am,” she added in her caption.
Photos from the campaign show Garth in a variety of sets: a sleek black bra and panties under a cozy cream cardigan, a beige set complemented by a draped blue robe, and a playful moment where she pulls on jeans over a yellow tee and matching underwear. In another, she stuns in a pale blue ensemble, looking poised and peaceful.
The response was instant—and overwhelmingly positive. Fans flocked to her comments to cheer her on, praising her confidence, dedication, and timeless beauty.
“A natural beauty 😍 love you Jennie ❤️” one follower gushed.
“🔥 Girl you do the work in the gym and it is such an inspiration for us 50+ ladies!” another chimed in.
Others were quick to ask for tips, admiring her fit physique.
“Jennie!🔥 send me your workouts and meal plan. I’m jealous 👏,” one wrote.
Many comments reflected on her youthful appearance, with one fan saying, “Wow! Incredible! I can’t believe it’s you! You look 40 years old, not 53! Underwear suits you and looks good on you!”
Another follower summed it up with heartfelt nostalgia: “The years will not pass by you!!! You will always be the queen!! Kelly forever.”
But Garth’s confidence wasn’t built overnight—and her path to this photoshoot has included years of physical struggle.
Back in September 2024, Garth published a personal essay revealing that she’s been living with chronic joint pain for years. She shared how discomfort in her hips began subtly but worsened over time, eventually making even simple activities, like walking her dogs, a challenge.
She initially brushed it off as the result of her active past—horseback riding, dancing, and physical work—but eventually suspected something more serious. With a family history of arthritis, her instincts were soon confirmed.
“My doctor confirmed those suspicions via an X-ray and an MRI: I had osteoarthritis in my thumbs, knees, and hips—all the joints that you don’t want to stop moving,” she recalled. “I can see some arthritis coming,” her doctor gently told her.
Garth, who was in her mid-40s at the time, admitted the diagnosis made her feel “old and confused.” But instead of surrendering to it, she chose to stay active and mindful, doing her best to remain mobile despite the pain.
Now, standing tall in front of the camera in a new kind of spotlight, Garth is redefining what strength looks like. Her message is clear: beauty isn’t bound by age, and self-love doesn’t fade—it deepens with time, experience, and resilience.
