Story 1:
One night, while riding in our family’s station wagon, we suddenly had a tire blowout. Oddly enough, my father didn’t stop—instead, he kept speeding forward, even as the car struggled on the flat tire.
Eventually, the tire gave out completely and flew off, leaving us scraping along on the bare rim. Something about the situation felt off.
Later, my father revealed that he had seen a man toss a line of nails across the road. It was a trap, meant to force cars to stop so they could be robbed or hijacked. Realizing the danger, my father made the split-second decision to keep driving—no matter the risk.
Story 2:
In another strange moment, my friends and I came across a deserted house and decided to explore it. We wandered through the rooms, curious and excited, searching for something unusual.
On the second floor, we found an old, broken gramophone covered in thick dust—clearly untouched for years.
We didn’t disturb anything. After taking a quick look around, we began heading out. That’s when I suddenly heard soft music playing behind us.
It was the gramophone.
When I asked my friends if they’d heard it too, they all nodded—they had.
