After buying our apartment, we didn’t have much left for renovations, so we tackled them little by little. The bathroom was our first big project, and we managed to complete it with about $2,000.

Around the same time, our neighbors were also renovating their place—but theirs turned into a never-ending project. It’s been more than a year, and they’re still at it!

One day, they asked my husband to help move something, and when he came back just 10 minutes later, he looked completely shocked. He said, “You won’t believe it—there’s absolutely nothing on their floor. All their furniture is attached to the walls! Even the fridge and bed are mounted up on shelves!”

Turns out, our neighbors are obsessed with keeping the floor clear. They’ve fixed nearly everything to the walls, and whenever they want to rearrange, they just drill new holes. Their reasoning? It makes it easier for their robot vacuum to do its job. It’s a strange but oddly entertaining habit, and we have to admit—they keep life interesting!
