Every year, numerous competitions were held to find the year’s best animal skills. Joya, a small Chihuahua, and her trainer Karin Baumann did a beautiful ballet dance to the tune of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake.”
Many hearts were won as the dog whirled and danced so gracefully. Their video went viral, and they quickly rose to the status of internet celebrities. Despite the fact that they did not won any honors, they returned home with great pride. They achieved their dancing objective and gained a new fan base.
The truth that Joya and Karin did not win the Heelwork to Music division demonstrates the high level of talent that attends the Crufts dog show each year.
This concept inspired the competitors, and perhaps next year someone will do a dance to the fantastic music of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.”
