Valerie Bertinelli won the right to not pay him the $50K a month he asked for.

She will still give him a lot of money, but the terms will be better.

Valerie went to Europe to spend Thanksgiving and her divorce party with her family.

This November, Valerie Bertinelli has a lot to be happy about. Aside from Thanksgiving, she is also celebrating the fact that she is now divorced and happy.

The actress told the world on Twitter that she was finally divorced. She was happy to be free of her ex-husband Tom Vitale after waiting a year.

Valerie Bertinelli goes to the 64th GRAMMY Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 3, 2022.

In the video, which was shot at the airport while Bertinelli was on her way to see her newly engaged son Wolfgang Van Halen, she said that the lawyer had just called her to tell her that the papers had been signed and were ready to be filed.

The wait was worth it because she won’t have to pay her ex-husband Vitale the $50,000 a month that he asked for. She will still have to pay him a lot of money, though.

What kind of deal did Valerie and her ex make?
Bertinelli filed for a legal separation from her husband of ten years, Vitale, on November 24, 2021, and for a divorce on May 12, 2022, in Los Angeles Superior Court. Since then, a number of things have made her want to settle quickly.

First, Vitale tried to stop Bertinelli from asking for spousal support. Later, he asked that he be given $50,000 a month and $200,000 to cover his legal fees.

Vitale is making this request even though the couple signed a prenuptial agreement before getting married in 2011. She fought the request in court and won, so she didn’t have to pay the amount asked of her. In the divorce settlement, she will still have to pay a lot of money.

ET got court documents that say Bertinelli will still have to pay Vitale $2.2 million to settle all of their claims. Especially important is that this amount is on top of the $500,000 she gave Vitale on May 24.

On May 5, 2019, in Pasadena, California, Valerie Bertinelli goes to the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards at the Pasadena Civic Center.

Even though it seems like a lot of money, she can pay it all off in 4.5 years. It is much better than paying $50,000 a month, which would cost her more in the long run. Now that they have come to a final agreement, Bertinelli can enjoy her freedom and is spending Thanksgiving with her family in Europe to mark this important moment.

Bertinelli told Today’s Hoda Kotb in an earlier interview that she wasn’t looking for love and was happy to be single. She also:

“I couldn’t be happier to get a divorce and spend the rest of my life by myself. That will make me happy. Well, with my six cats, my dog, my son, and, hopefully, grandchildren one day.”

As of right now, the mother of one loves being single and spending time with her friends and family. She is getting ready for her son’s wedding and can’t wait to become a grandmother soon.
