ABC TV is a business just like any other. When something isn’t working, you put a stop to it in a quiet way until it’s gone and then replace it with something that people like.
And The View is now that business that is failing.
Just last week, The View lost fifteen more sponsors, which means that sometimes it has to show random graphics that serve the show’s own interests.
Executives like Joe Barron believe it was host Whoopi Goldberg who’s most recent puzzling behavior contributed to the falling ratings and declining popularity of the program.
“I think Whoopi is way too rude for that time slot in the morning.
Most of the older goats up at that time of day are conservative wasteoids who just sent their dumb kids to school and are having their first Manhattan. They don’t like how liberal Whoopi is.”
The network is temporarily replacing the show with their popular hit “Shark Tank” while they think about their options for the future.
On the show “Shark Tank,” five “sharks,” or rich jerks, decide whether or not to invest in a new idea from an amateur inventor.
The cast of The View is also doing other things. Joy Behar is starting her own talk show on MSNBC, and Ana Navarro is thinking about starting a modeling career.
As for Goldberg, she’ll have a lot on her mind between having to pay off the lawsuits she’s in and starting a new business making tiaras out of her own pubic hair.
