In light of the recent news regarding the hospitalization of Her Royal Highness Kate Middleton, the Royal Family has issued an update on her expected resumption of duties.
As detailed on their Instagram account, Middleton, officially known as the Princess of Wales, was admitted to The London Clinic in Marylebone on January 16, 2024.
According to palace sources, Middleton underwent a successful abdominal surgery, resulting in a prominent scar. The senior royal member is expected to stay in the hospital for “ten to fourteen days” before transitioning to home recovery.
In line with medical advice, Middleton is not expected to resume public duties until after Easter. This decision has been made with her well-being as the top priority.
Middleton, whose medical condition is reported as “not cancerous,” places a high priority on maintaining privacy regarding her health matters, particularly for the well-being of her children.
Keeping this in mind, Kensington Palace will issue updates on her recovery only when deemed essential for public awareness.
Apologies have been conveyed from Kensington Palace, on behalf of the Princess of Wales, for any disruptions caused by the rescheduling of her engagements.
Looking ahead, Middleton, who faced severe morning sickness during her first pregnancy, eagerly awaits the opportunity to resume her public duties sooner rather than later.
