It’s quite a significant duration for a toddler like Adalinn, who is two and a half years old, to be separated from her father. A month amounts to almost a quarter of her entire life so far.
Hence, it’s natural that Adalinn’s mother, Alison Durbin, felt the need to organize a special reunion for her daughter and her husband, retired pilot Ron Durbin.
As Ron’s eagerly awaited flight touched down at Raarid City Regional Airport in South Dakota, Alison held up a sign for Adalynn that read, “I’m here to get my DAD. Just don’t know ’cause I can’t read yet!”. The airport passengers were all in on the surprise, except for the unsuspecting young girl who was about to experience the moment of her life.
Adalynn let go of the sign and dashed into Ron’s open arms as he made his way off the runway to reunite with his wife and daughter. The touching and endearing moment of reunion between father and daughter has already garnered over 3 million views on Facebook. Within seconds, it’s evident why.
