In India, a baby girl, abandoned by her parents, spent the night in the freezing cold but was kept safe by a litter of puppies.
Amazingly, the mother dog likely lay close to the infant, who was still attached to her umbilical cord.
A local representative mentioned that a group discovered the baby during their routine activities. “At eleven in the morning, we found a newborn girl crying and resting with the dogs in our neighborhood,” they said.
Another neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, speculated, “It’s possible that the warmth from the puppies and their mother kept this baby alive.”
They noted that the baby had to endure the entire night outside, as the temperature drops significantly after sunset, especially during this time of year.
Authorities later arrived and took the girl to a hospital for medical evaluation. The police are currently searching for the baby’s parents.
