If your baby reaches the size of a toddler at 13.5 pounds, it can present some challenges. However, mothers have a special reason to celebrate the birth of a child.

Christine and Larry Corbitt were overjoyed to complete their family of four with the birth of their new baby.

Christine had experienced smaller babies in her previous pregnancies, so she noticed her belly was much larger this time. As her pregnancy progressed, she continued to gain more weight.

Concerns about the size of the baby grew, and during a difficult labor, Christine delivered Carleigh Brooke Corbitt via cesarean section. Carleigh weighed a remarkable 13.5 pounds at birth.

Despite their worries, the delivery went smoothly. The doctor and nurses were astonished by the baby’s size. “When I saw her wrapped up in the curtain for the first time, I couldn’t believe how huge she was. I felt like I was staring at a toddler,” Christine told Inside Edition.

Carleigh’s size necessitated some quick adjustments. Nurses weighed her immediately after birth, revealing her impressive weight. Larry had to find larger clothing for Carleigh as she quickly outgrew her newborn outfits.

Now that they are home, Chrissy and Larry are excited to spend quality time with their big, beautiful baby.
