In Ohio, a Dunkin’ Donuts employee named Ebony Johnson recently received a fully furnished home, thanks to a devoted customer. Johnson first met Suzanne Burke at the drive-thru window where she worked three years ago. Over time, their daily chats during Burke’s morning coffee runs blossomed into a friendship.

When Burke found out that Johnson, a mother of three, had fallen on hard times and been evicted from her home in Mount Healthy, she felt compelled to help. Determined to make a difference, Burke reached out to organizations that assist those in need, ultimately securing a new, fully furnished home for Johnson.

Johnson is overjoyed for the upcoming holidays now that she has a comfortable, fully-decorated home. Expressing her gratitude, she shared with WCPO News, “I’m so glad we’re back in our house. The Lord protected me because I prayed and pleaded, ‘May I go home before Christmas?'”
