Last year, Ned Tarmey adopted a dog named Kane, and just a year later, Kane returned the favor by saving Ned’s life in a terrifying incident.
The 86-year-old noticed Kane becoming restless one day, assuming he needed to go outside. However, when Ned opened the door, he was shocked to find his neighbor, Jeff Tarmey, standing there completely naked.
Before Ned could react, Jeff attacked him with a brick and continued hurling rocks, bricks, and lawn furniture, all while threatening to kill him.
The attack was brutal, but Kane quickly sprang into action, holding Jeff down until the police arrived.
When the authorities arrived, they had to use a stun gun on both Jeff and Kane, who refused to release the attacker.
Fortunately, Kane is recovering well, and Ned, after a brief stay in the ICU, is also on the mend. The two were tearfully reunited at the hospital, with Ned expressing his deep gratitude, saying, “Oh, you saved my life!
You saved my life!” Jeff is now facing charges for his violent assault, and Ned’s family is overwhelmed with emotion over Kane’s heroic actions.
