Influencer Caroline Calloway, known for her controversial past and previously dubbed the “world’s worst influencer,” has refused to evacuate her Sarasota, Florida, home despite warnings of the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Milton. Calloway’s home falls in a mandatory evacuation zone as the storm is expected to hit the Sarasota-Bradenton area. However, she listed several reasons for not leaving, including the fact that she can’t drive, the local airport being closed, and a traumatic experience during a previous hurricane evacuation to her mother’s house. She recalled being stranded for three days without power or running water during Hurricane Ian, which left her wary of evacuating again.

In her Instagram post, Calloway mentioned her cat as her only company and reassured her audience that she had food and a bathtub filled with backup water, although she admitted feeling scared. She also took to X (formerly Twitter) to share sarcastic advice, promoting her upcoming book, saying, “For more great advice, buy my second book… if I survive!”

Despite the looming threat of Hurricane Milton, the defiant influencer continues to draw attention with her bold, and often reckless, behavior.
