In our area, it’s a good idea to regularly check around and under your car to make sure no wildlife has decided to take up residence. When a kind-hearted woman noticed a baby deer napping beneath someone’s car tire, she decided to take action.
Wanting to make sure the car’s owner knew about the baby deer, the woman posted on Facebook, and the post quickly went viral.
The responses were a mix of heartfelt appreciation and humor. One of the most liked comments came from Joshua Kevin Nye, who had this to say:
“You know it was an elderly woman, but how? Why didn’t she just leave a note instead of telling you there was a blasted deer under the tire? Someone explain this to me!”
Another person humorously expressed concern over whether the driver could even read. “I guess you can’t always judge by how some people drive,” they joked.
Cyntha Atkinson was one of the more compassionate commenters, appreciating the woman’s actions:
“Thank you for leaving the note, kind woman.”
We should all be grateful for people who choose to make a difference in moments like this, instead of just carrying on with their day.
So, what would you have done in this situation? Would you have kept going, left a note, or tried to coax the deer out from under the car?
