Donald Trump Reveals Unexpected Reason for Not Deporting Prince Harry
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has shared an unusual explanation for why he has no intention of deporting Prince Harry from the United States.

The Duke of Sussex, now 40, moved to California with his wife, Meghan Markle, 43, in 2020 amid escalating tensions with the British royal family. Concerned about their safety and privacy, the couple decided to settle in the U.S. rather than remain in the UK with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

However, Harry’s immigration status has been under legal scrutiny in Washington, D.C. The Heritage Foundation has argued that his U.S. visa should have been denied due to alleged past drug use, which he admitted to in his memoir, Spare. The conservative think tank claims that Harry may have failed to disclose this information on his application.

Despite the controversy, Trump has now clarified that he will not take action to send Harry back to the UK. Speaking to the New York Post, he stated, “I don’t want to do that, I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

During the interview, Trump also took the opportunity to praise Prince William, whom he privately met in Paris last December while attending the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. “I think William is a great young man,” he remarked.

Trump’s decision comes despite the fact that both Harry and Meghan have openly criticized him in the past. Meghan previously described him as “divisive” and “misogynistic”, while Trump has repeatedly mocked Harry, calling him “whipped” by Meghan and claiming, “I think poor Harry is being led around by the nose.”

The debate over Harry’s visa intensified after he detailed his past use of cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelics in his book. In response, the Heritage Foundation sued the Department of Homeland Security last year, seeking the release of Harry’s immigration records.

Nile Gardiner, a spokesperson for the organization, emphasized that “Anyone applying for entry to the United States must be truthful on their application, and it is unclear whether that was the case with Prince Harry.”

The think tank argues that the Biden administration granted Harry special treatment when approving his visa after he and Meghan relocated.

For now, however, it seems the Duke of Sussex’s life in Montecito remains secure.
