The poor dog was in a heartbreaking state. Trapped in icy water, it struggled desperately, unable to find a way out. Worried witnesses quickly called the police for help.
Within moments, officers arrived at the scene. Without hesitation, two brave policemen jumped straight into the freezing river to save the helpless animal.
The rescue was anything but easy. Battling the cold water and harsh conditions, the officers risked their own safety to bring the dog to safety.
Their actions were nothing short of heroic.
