Many parents struggle with how to handle their children becoming envious of the love their siblings may be receiving from them, despite their best efforts to make all of their children feel equally loved.
This frequently occurs in families with a young baby, who obviously need extra care from mom and dad. It’s possible that older children will feel that the baby is being treated unfairly and that this can cause them to fight.
In extreme circumstances, the sibling who feels abandoned may come to harbor animosity toward their younger sibling. Parents should urge children to show affection for their siblings as frequently as possible since nobody wants that.
