Carrie Underwood and Darius Rucker, who are also big names in country music, were also on the show. There are a lot of Elvis Presley cover songs, but Blake Shelton’s version of “Suspicious Minds” at a tribute to the “King of Rock and Roll” in 2019 was perfect.

A lot of famous musicians got together in February of last year for a special event to honor Elvis for his work in the music business. Billboard says that Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, and other artists all played at the tribute.

Shelton was the main act and the show’s host. Shelton sang songs like “If I Can Dream,” “Trouble,” “Guitar Man,” and “Suspicious Minds” in a lively way.

It wasn’t a surprise that Shelton chose to sing “Suspicious Minds.” The song was a huge hit in country music, and a lot of artists did their own versions of it. In 1992, Dwight Yoakam’s cover was one of the most popular ones. Gwen Stefani, Blake’s girlfriend, sang the song with her band No Doubt in 2002 as a tribute to Elvis Presley. We’re sure that Shelton’s cover of the famous ballad helped Stefano.
