OutDaughtered is an American reality show on TLC that stars Adam and Danielle Busby, who are the only known parents of five girls in the United States.

The first episode of the show was on May 10, 2016, and the first episode of the eighth season is on February 23, 2021. The last episode of the 8-season show, number 75, aired on May 4, 2021. At 28 weeks, Danielle had a caesarean section to give birth to her five babies.

Soon after they were born, all five girls were found to have heart murmurs, which were treated with medicine. Before going home in June or July 2015, the Quints spent the first eight to twelve weeks of their lives in the neonatal intensive care unit of the Texas Women’s Hospital. The show talked about Hazel’s eye problem, which is called congenital nystagmus.

Because of this, Hazel can’t keep her eyes still and holds her head at an odd angle to make up for the fact that she can’t see clearly. In 2016, Hazel had surgery on her eyes to make them better. Hazel’s left eye was found to have astigmatism in 2017, which may be why it sometimes turns into a defect. Her left eye was farsighted, so she was given glasses to help. It was hoped that her vision would get better as the eye grew.
