After 77 years, Sandra Baronic Pine, who lived in the US, found out that she had been raised by strangers her whole life. It turned out that not even the woman’s parents knew that she wasn’t their own daughter. How did it happen? When two babies were born at the same time in the hospital, they were mixed up and given to the wrong mothers.

Sandra was lucky that she was able to find family. Now, the woman wants to make things right and connect with people she doesn’t know, but who are related to her by blood.

A Pennsylvania woman once took a DNA test on the popular website Ancestry.com because her nephews asked her to. Sandra was shocked by the results, but so were her close relatives, who turned out not to be her blood relatives.

Sandra’s Italian roots were shown by the test. The only problem was that the 77-year-old woman’s parents were native Slovaks. So, the old woman didn’t take the test results seriously because she thought that something had gone wrong with the service. She pushed the bad thoughts away and went on with her life. But…

Fate gives us signs sometimes, and it does so for a reason. After a while, another 77-year-old woman from the state next to Sandra’s also started using Ancestry.com.

And Debra Monaco-Zaffuto did not expect the results to show that she has a blood sister, who she did not even know about. Her parents were born in Italy, but they spent their whole adult lives in the United States. They lived in the nearby town of Brockway, which is 20 km from Sandra’s house.

It turned out that both women were born on the same day and in the same maternity hospital. It turns out that Ancestry.com was right about the results at first. And because of a mistake in medicine, an American grew up in an unusual family.

Then Sandra understood why she was so different from her (so-called) brother and sister when she was a child. They had blonde hair and blue eyes, just like their parents. And both his hair and eyes were dark.

By the way, a woman was often made fun of and called mean names as a child because she was different from her family.

After meeting in person, Sandra and Debra took more DNA tests, which again confirmed what the site said. Now that she’s 77, the woman wants to get back in touch with her real family, which she lost because of a simple mistake.

Even though she and Debra had not known about each other for so many years, the woman said that when they finally met, she felt an instant connection to her. Sandra says that she and Debra haven’t been sisters for a long time, but she wants to keep these new family ties until she dies.
