Jess del Ro’s time on The Voice Kids Spain was an unforgettable one. The boy’s blind audition of the classic AC/DC song “Highway to Hell” went viral because of how well he sang it. He later became a finalist by singing “Back in Black.” For his last show, the eight-year-old sang “The Last Countdown,” which is the European national anthem.
Jess likes hard rock, since he looked pretty annoyed when he sang Bruno Mars’s “Locked Out of Heaven” in the fight ring. AC/DC seemed to be the only band that could match his wailing vocals until his performance in the finale. But he did a great job with “The Final Countdown,” which was the last song of the competition.
He finally lost to Levi Daz, who was only 11, but what a great run!
